How to make an appointment

Please DO NOT contact any of the hospitals below directly for an appointment since these phone numbers no longer connect you to the hospital but to a helpline.
 
What do you need for an appointment

Mr David is happy to receive referrals from GPs, consultant colleagues and optometrists.
 
He also sees patients without a formal referral.
 
However if you have medical insurance you should check with your insurance company whether you require a referral letter from your family doctor. If you wish to make an appointment please ring Mr David's secretary on 07557 478818 and we can arrange an appointment at the location of your choice.
 
Waiting times for a routine non-emergency private referral is usually no more than 2 weeks. Emergency patients are usually seen within 24 hours. Please use the online email on the "Contact us" page if you wish to make an emergency appointment.
 
Please bring a referral letter from your GP or eye specialist, or optometrist report if you have one. You should also bring your insurance number and authorisation code for the consultation if you have medical insurance.
